Dory has exhibitted some odd behaviour at our cat flap since the day we put it in. Sometimes, instead of going out, she'll stand on her back legs and rest her front paws on the inside rim of the cat flap. She then holds it down with one paw and relentlessly pings the inner flap housing with her other paw.
She knows she can go out - the flap is unlocked, but it can get quite annoying if she does it at night.
Anyone else seen this behaviour or know what it might be ?

Maybe she enjoys doing it...she's just playing with it. I don't really think it's a behavior issue. To stop her from doing it, doesn't your flap have a lock on it?

It does have a three-way lock, yes. And that stops her from pulling it but if she decides to go out we just have to remember to go an unlock it again so she can get back in :)
