Smoked meats are bad for them. Just like children the nitrates could build up and hurt their liver/kidneys. I would switch his diiet and get some blood work done to test liver function

I hope it works out. I would at least try to give him turkey thats not smoked or has garlic of any sort on it. Good luck to you and your fuzzy friend....lol I'm such a dork!
