So as you may know, we recently took in Jersey about 3 weeks ago. About a week after Jersey came into our home, our cat Spartacus (also a rescue, who we've had for about 4 months now), started opening the laundry area door. It's this folding type door, and he pushes it open. Seemingly for no reason. He doesn't go in there, Jersey doesn't go in there. He just opens it, and walks away. He didn't start this until after Jersey came into our house. They're best buds, sleep together, play together, eat together, groom each other, totally normal young cat/kitten stuff, but he opens the door, every day, multiple times a day. If you close it, he will open it. EVERY TIME. It's always open now, until you walk by and close it, and then within the hour, it's open again. We haven't changed how we treat him, still love on him, no change in routine really. I just don't understand it!! It's totally bizarre!!!
