Outdoor cat moves to apartment

Welcome to CF, I knew that if she was an outdoor cat in the past that she would certainly want out, to a lot of cats that had a taste of outdoor life find the indoors kinda boring, but on the "how long do you think I should wait until I let her out", I can't answer, I do know in the past of people in your situation that got tired of the cat wanting to go out and gave in(maybe to early ?) and their cat never came back, so what ever you decide, please be careful........IMO, it's easier to move a indoor cat to an outdoor than vise-versa, there's so many things outside that keep a cat interested...............
