For the sake of my sweet kitties, we need help! We have two neutered cats about seven years old. We got them at the same time from a pet adoption agency so they've grown up together. I'm a college student and will be leaving for school again soon. When I left last year they began viciously fighting and peeing in the house. They calmed down over the summer but we're worried it'll happen again. The only cause we could think of was terratory but we don't know how to fix it. If we don't find a solution we have to get rid of them   It would break my heart to see them go. Any and all help needed.

Try spraying Feliway. It's an excellent way to calm things down. I assume your males were neutered after they became 6 or 7 months. Buy it and give it to Mom. I'm sure she'll cooperate, since you're doing your share. Moms usually love animals. Well---so do Dads, but sometimes they don't have the same patience. (Hey, men, I said SOMETIMES. I know our guys would! :) )

Hehe...I've got another question for you...Once a cat has peed on something (ie. clothing...), what's the best way to get rid of the smell?

You can find Feliway at a pet supply store. Also, for the odor, you need a cleaner with enzymes, and you can get that at any pet supply store also. If you're not sure where the cats have sprayed you can get a black light, which will show you where the urine or spray is. Good luck!
