My 3.5 years old siamese mix in a hospital right now. He is being treated for FLUTD :( One of my dogs just had some other problem and being treated with medications. Now my other cat has been sneezing. I am taking him to a vet on monday. They had been doing just great past years but suddenly getting sick at once.

I am broke than ever. I should have done this earlier but some people suggested not to get Pet Insurance because they were ripped off. I am sure some insurance companies are not so bad. So my question is who do you use if you do have pet insurance? And how do you like it so far?

I dont have pet insurance but I have care credit instead. This has come in handy on several ocassions when I have been broke. I think many vets take them and it may be a nice alternative to pet insurance.

I looked at the pet insurance plan and put it right back down. It doesn't cover dental work - I have spent $1000 on dental work this year and I think Levi needs another tooth out in the future. At this point I just can't imagine anything else going wrong!

I know the care credit works some places, I'm not sure how good it is however.

I work in Banfield and we have those hospitals all around the nation, it's "like" pet insurance, but it only works at Banfields, which really isn't bad if you have one around. It covers all sorts of different stuff, and I've seen it work very well repeatedly ever day at our practice.

Couldn't hurt to check it out, I don't know much about pet insurance from other places however, so I can't rate them. Good luck!
