I see that people who post or reply to a post have both an avatar and pictures of their cats under their replies.

I have an avatar but how do I place photos under my posts or replies so they show up each time?

The thing under your post is the signature, and the thing on the left is your avatar. If you go to "User CP," and on the left click on "Edit Signature," that's how you put something on there. Like avatars, the pictures in signatures have to be a max of 180 whatevers across. (Pardon the technical talk.)
