what does it mean when rubbing my cats belly or maybe just holding her and she's purring then all of a sudden she will gently bite me and then lick then bite, then lick, and as shes doing that she's gently sort of using her hind legs and paws to scratch me it doesn't hurt, but its strange. I'm a new cat owner and just learning  i actually like it :D

also she licks my face alot is she cleaning me?? or kissing me??? :?:

Some think that a cat may go to sleep while being stroked, then wake up suddenly and interpret the contact as a threat. Others think that while cats like some contact, they get irritated when they get a big dose. So your cat is simply telling you, no more petting. Yes, usually when a cat licks your face it is a sign of affection. She’s telling you that she loves you. :D

I have heard that rubbing a cats belly can be interpreted as threating to them. My cats through the years have all done that behavior. I call it "basting". Like they are wetting down the area to then be chomped on. I think its kinda cute as long as they don't take any skin with them.
