Thumper 73, normally a cat will only pee into something that already smells of urine. Do you wash out the dog's bed? Is his litter box clean?. Usually a cat peeing in other places other than his litter box, can be caused by the two afore mentioned possibilities, or that he is under stress, from not being comfortable around his house mates.

hi Thumper,

Like Wayne mentioned, he'll probably continue to pee in places where there is urine. So it would be a good idea to get another doggie bed.

Try moving the dog's bed into another area, and put a litter box where the dog's bed used to be.

also make sure to keep his litter nice and clean!

Some cat household just can't have anything down on the floor that resembles a litter box. I'm sure you can see how your cat finds the litter box and the dog bed similiar in some ways.

We've missed you,Thumper! If kitty continues to urinate in the wrong place, have him checked at the vet. It often means a bladder problem-especially if he has been trained and used the litter box regularly before this.

thanks for missing me :)
milo 3ys 9mths has been checked at the vets they can find nothing wrong, personally i think it is the fact he lost 3 of his friends in a short period of time(8mths),he now thinks his a dog and wants attention from my 2 jack russells, who clean him and are so good with him he seems so much happier now they all sleep together on the dogs bean bed so sweet to see.
