hi Thumper,
Like Wayne mentioned, he'll probably continue to pee in places where there is urine. So it would be a good idea to get another doggie bed.
Try moving the dog's bed into another area, and put a litter box where the dog's bed used to be.
also make sure to keep his litter nice and clean!
