Well, I have a little problem...

Stella (my one year old dilute calico) went into to litterbox this morning and when she came out she was rubbing her bum on the carpet. I immediately knew something was wrong. When she walked away, I noticed some poop dangling off some long hair or something else she ate. Needless to say, I was mortified! I immediately tried to catch her, but it was too late. She rubbed the poop all over the bathroom floor and carpet and started to clean herself.

I did a quick clean up and left for work. My question is...

How can I avoid this happening again?

I clip near Twinkie's tail area so there's less chance of getting poop stuck around there. Sugar never really has poop near her butt since she is such a short haired cat. A quick trim doesn't hurt. :p
