When I first saw this, I thought, why don't they put him out of his misery? Then I relalised he didn't seem miserable. What's going to happen when he gets older I don't know, but of course he doesn't, and won't, know any other life.
Interesting is that he survived early kittenhood, so he must have been getting looked after. It would be interesting, but impossible, to find out if it was just the mother or the whole colony that looked after him.
