Can someone please shed some light on this? I bought some pork meat that I didn't realize had a little bone in it.

Not sure how big the pork bones you have. But there is a good chance it may have to be ground to feed to your kitties. Some of the ones I have seen are too though for kitties to go through. But essentially bone is bone.

When feeding bone-in meals to cats, it's not the type of bones that matters, it's the size/thickness of them. As long as your cat can crack the bones into small enough pieces to chew and swallow, then it's ok to feed them.

But with bones, it's better to err on the side of caution because cats learn very quickly and if they try to break down a bone and fail, they'll be reluctant to try again.

Best regards!

I think the pork bones are ribs. I didn't notice any bone in it when I bought it. Thanks for replying. I probably ought to pass on feeding it to them. They get plenty of bone in Hen, Chicken, etc.
