Is there any formula to predict an approximate adult weight for a cat? I'm just curious, more than anything else.

My new little guy, Tom, an Aby/Tabby mix, is really small. He's almost 5 months old, and he's weighing in at 4.4 lbs. I love the fact that he's so little, as I've always had hefty kitties.

Just curious if anyone knows about this.

Lisa :)

One of my co-worker's gave me Thomas, so I keep in touch with the rest of the litter. Thomas was similar size to the rest of the kittens. But by the time he was 6 months, my co-worker was telling me that Thomas was way bigger than all his brothers and sisters. Now at 1 year Thomas weighs 12.5 lbs. He's long, lean, and very musculer.

Either way, the point is, he looked the same as the other kittens...but grew much larger.
