My boyfriend posted before that we found a stray cat which turned out to be pregnant. She is the sweetest cat ever. Orange and fluffy. Well we are trying to get her used to being inside. Luckly she knows how to use the litter box so I think she was an inside cat before. The problem we are having is that she doesnt like to be inside. We normally coax her in by calling her and she comes inside, yet in the morning she wants to be let outside, she lets us know by meowing at the door and if we open it she darts towards it. I am scared that she has found a place to have the kittens and wants to have them in our yard. I really dont think that is the best thing for her just for the fact i have seen some neighbors with kittens they let be born outside and they seem sickly with eye sickness and really dirty ear problems.

so should we ignore the fact that she wants to go outside or should we let her out each morning?

I'm not sure... maybe if you prepare her a kittening box, a large box lined with newspaper or blankets, you can persuade her to give birth in there. But she will probably give birth wherever she feels is safest. And if she hasn't lived in a house for a while, then I think that would be outdoors.

I would keep her inside, but give her planty of space. If she can have her own room, with a few nooks and crannies to hide the babies, she should be fine. Maybe even prepare a few different kittening boxes in the places she likes to hide.
Whenever she begs to be let out I would give her some alternate thing she enjoys, like a treat or a brushing, or even some play time.

Definately keep her inside! She may not like it, but its for her and her kittens own good. I am still thinking of the number of possibilites that left my kittens motherless. And one of them could have been because it was an inside cat that couldn't get out to take care of them..!

I have had a wild cat that had kittens outside, and more kittens.. and more kittens.. She has them in the garage. She didn't come inside til after her last litter (which got her caught). Then we got her spayed and let her back out. Never seen her again  Think she hated us after that, lol. First we took her kittens after they were old enough(didnt want more wild cats), then we put her through a spaying-pain..!

Thank you for the input. We decided to keep her in the house, which we wanted to do to begin with but we wanted her to be more happy about it. I appreciate the feed back. Atleast we have a better idea of how we should handle this.

Oh and as soon as she has the kittens we will post pictures!
