Hello to all.

On Sunday, October 3, there will be a Project Noah Benefit Concert in Bowling Green, Kentucky. If you are wondering what Project Noah is all about, look HERE. They are trying to raise funds for the preservation of endangered animals.

I came upon this info in a rather odd fashion. I am going to be in Murfreesboro, that Saturday, at the Heart of Tennessee Scottish Celebration. A musical group from Scotland that I enjoy, Clann An Drumma, is going to be playing at the festival, but on Sunday they will be playing at the benefit concert. So, as I make my way home on Sunday, I will stop off for another dose of the drums. And help the cats at the same time.

Anybody close by that might be able to swing by and help this effort with a ticket? If so, we need to set up a place to meet.

Hey Claire, are you around? Clann An Drumma are from Glasgow, do you know of them?

If any of you enjoy the pipes and the drums, visit HERE, click on the Radio link and enjoy. Clann An Drumma ::Keep It Tribal::

Peace,
Mike

Do you mean Project Noah or Clann An Drumma?

With you being in Scotland, I am thinking you might mean CAD. I really enjoy their music. So much that if I am at my desk, I am usually listening to their streaming audio.

I am going to see if I can hide in their kit and ride back to Glasgow with them. Claire has offered to put me up for a bit, if I can make it over there. One of these days, I just might surprise her!

Peace,
Mike

Mike, you know how much I wish I could go. It's too far for me, unfortunately, but ye didna tell me the lads were frae Glasgow! :)
Oh, aye, lass, Glaswegians, indeed. I'd hae tol' ye, had ye asked. (Not all lads, tho', dinna be leavin' Jacquie oot!)

See why I am heading for Murfreesboro? I wanted to attend the Festival, but the chance to see Clann An Drumma live might not present itself again, so soon. It's only a bit over a 6 hour drive and it is worth it to me to make the trip.

Jeanie, there has to be some sort of moderator expense account that you can tap into. Hit it up and let's get plane tickets to go and personally greet our Scots members. (Dinna fash aboot the plane, I'll be wi' ye an' I'll sit by the windy. Ye canna fash aboot it, if ye canna see oot.) We'll look in on Claire and all the updates on Holyrood, then stop in Glasgow as we head on to Dunoon. Misty, where are you, so we can get you on the itinerary?

Surely Dan won't mind covering the expense... 8)

Peace,
Mike

I hope Dan sees this! It would be so educational. We could come back with more international information, especially about the Scottish fold. Let's do it. I'll get a hold of Isabel at Holy Loch, and we'll drop in for a wee cup at Misty's house. Would ye nae think aboot an ocean liner, laddie? :) I'm not a drinker! If Dan's paying for it, why not? Why ca' canny wi' his money?

We would also know inside information on some of our U.K. members, as well. We would know how well Claire and Misty cook, for instance.

You don't have to convince me, I'm packed and waitin'...

OK, but while we are over at Dunoon, we have to visit the Lamont Memorial. As for that wee cup at Misty's house, I suspect she has boarded the place up and has headed FAR away. How many time's I gotta tell ye, NEVER warn 'em we're comin'.
