How can you tell a cat's age i Know you can't know for sure unless you know when their born, but the people we got her from said she was dumped off their 3-4 years ago so I know she's at least that but she's not all that active she'll walk around a little bit but she mostly lays around or sleeps i don't know if she's just adjusting to being here or what any ideas?

I agree with Becky...the best way is to ask your vet for an approximate age. There's no way you can tell your cat's age from her activity level...some cats are 15 and very active, whereas others can be 2 or 3 and be less active. It all depends on the cat.
