Hi everyone! My vet prescribed 1/4 teaspoon tylan once a day (or 1/8th twice a day). My ca has had liquid diarrhea for a few weeks. Parasite fecal and x-ray showed no problems. As you know, tylan is bitter. My cat won't eat it in food. If I put it in capsules (size 3 gel capsules), then I would need to give her 5 capsules a day.
She is 17 pounds.
When I told him that giving her that much was a struggle, so he said at least give try to give her 1/8th teaspoon.
What are your cat's experience with Tylan? Did you use capsules?
