I have a cat tree at home and Tito loves to chase his tail around the base. He's got really long, silky fur and over time it accumulates around the foot of the tree and the surrounding carpet. I have tried to vacuum it off but since the fur is so fine it just sort of clings and moves around with the vacuum brush but it doesn't actually lift off to get sucked up.

Do you have any other methods to remove the stubborn loose fur other than having to waste a lot of tape or sticky rollers? LOL

A flea comb will get some of it, but I've found the only way to get the largest part of it is to pinch it up by hand. Arianwen's hair is long and fine, too, and accumulates on the top level of her cat tree. :)

Surprisingly, I've dampened a paper towel and it gathers up a lot. It works like a dream on my sofas, too. Better than vacuuming.
