Rose Leaves

Does anyone know if eating rose leaves is harmful to cats? I just came home and saw Stormy chomping on one that was in a vase. She ate about half a leaf. I looked up cat poisons and it says Christmas rose but nothing about regular roses.

when they say christmas rose I believe that's a pointsettia, which are well known to be poisenous to humans as well.

I haven't personally hear of anything about roses - you can actually eat rose buds can't you?
