Hello, all! My name is Jeanette, and I'm a 25-year-old from a little area of Iowa and Illinois (originally from the IL side) called the Quad Cities. I've been an animal-lower pretty much since birth. (As a child, I always used to bring stray pets home, and my mom said I'd even kiss worms and toads out in the yard as a toddler!) To this day, I love all animals, from the weird and unique to the common everyday pets.
Growing up, I've owned Yorkies, a cat, a floppy-earred rabbit, guinea pigs, hamsters, hermit crabs, sea monkeys, and birds.
After living on my own, I've had rats, which are so loving and wonderful. Just two weeks ago though, I lost my last rat, an adorable blue dumbo rex named Sky, to an upper respiratory infection.
Shortly after his passing, my significant other and I adopted a lovely calico cat I named Na'vi.

It's our first time owning a cat on our own, so here I am learn more!
