I am considering a full blooded siamese and would like to know if anyone knows how well they are with kids. I have a 5 year old daughter and a 3 year old son. Neither of my kids have ever been agressive or abusive to our current cat. I expect they will try to carry the kitten around and stuff but want to know if a siamese is a good choice with kids or a bad choice? Also do they do well with guests? Our current cat loves us but hates everyone else.

This would be the time to reinforce good kitty handling, with the kitty you already have!
Explain to your children, that the NEW kitty will feel afraid for a while, so don't pursue it! Let kitty make up its mind!
Plus, it will have to adjust to your resident cat! AS it will have to adjust to a NEW family member!
Introductions don't always go according to our plans!
As tempting as it is, don't just throw new kitten in the middle of everything!
One room, door closed, kitten, and resident cat can smell each other under the door space, a safe way for them to say "Hello"!
If you see them playing pawsie tag, under the door, you're on the right track!
I highly recommend Jackson Galaxy's new book, 'Total Cat Mojo'!
He is indeed, THE Cat Whisper'er!😺
Best Wishes!
