Earlier today, we found a malnurished kitten approximately 8 weeks old. The kitten is very skinny and seems to have some kind of fluid or air buildup around its ribs (very soft to the touch... squishy). We asked a friend and they said it could be a punctured lung, but he is breathing ok.
We are going to take him to the Vet, but not until Monday. We were wondering if anyone has any idea what this could be? We hope he doesn't have to be put down.
