So every night when im in the bathroom brushing my teeth...simba would join me and watch. He jumps up on the counter and sits there.

I put the toothpaste on the toothbrush and let him sniff it. He makes a funny face and backs away from the toothbrush.

Last night i let him sniff the toothbrush with the minty paste on it and this time he sneezed and backed away.

Why would toothpaste make him sneeze or make a funny face? Is mint a bad smell to cats?

My cats HATE the smell of toothpaste. That pull a funny face and back off.

Mint itself though, well Evie destroys any mint plant I bring home. Such a shame as I love the smell!
