well 10 days ago spencer got neutered. He was very good after it and he started playing with me that day. he is kinda odd though now. He sleeps in odd places and whenever i leave for school he goes to sleep and when i get home he wakes back up again, why is this?

he is about 8-9 months give or take

It is very normal for cats to spend the majority of their day sleeping. Someone would probably know the exact number, but I think cats generally spend about 17 of the 24 hours a day sleeping. What tough lives!

ya it sounds about right but i wonder why he is going to sleep when i leave and waking up when i get home? also he sleeps in really warm spots now that he is neutered ( like on top of the dryer, the heaters, and even in the washer)

Neutering does change the body's metabolism; slows it down some. It sounds like now that the hormones are gone, he's adapting to your schedule. That's a good thing!

Maybe it's b/c your cat is growing into an adult and you got him neutered. That equals his behavior changing a bit but at least it isn't anything that has changed for the worse. <<))
