My husband & I are going to FL for Christmas. We were planning on spending a few days on the way back with a friend. She has 3 male cats which have been fixed. We were planning on bringing our spayed female cat. She is afraid her cats will spray inside the house if our female is present. Do fixed males do that? Has anyone had a problem like this?

I always thought that if a male cat was fixed before puberty they would never spray. Did she fix her cats before puberty?
I dont know how accurate my information is..however I have a fixed male cat as well as a fixed female cat. He has never sprayed in his life.

I don't know. She claims they mark their territory outside. My cats mark by rubbing up against something.

Male cats do sometimes spray even if they are neuters. I would keep your cat in a room alone for the first day to let them get used to each others scents.Hopefully there won't be any trouble. Good luck.
