We'd only had the trap set for 20 minutes at most before we caught him, and all my other ferals where around!!! I'm just amazed that we caught only Peaches, and so quickly!!! It usually takes me about an hour to catch the right cat! He's going to the vet today, so now the real wait begins-finding out the results of the tests. He does the feline leukimea and feline aids tests in his clinic, so I should know by this afternoon what the results are. I'm hoping and praying that they come back negative, and all it takes is some antibiotics to get him healthy again!

Great news!!!!!!!! I just got off the phone with the vet. All tests are negative! It's just a bad URI, but nothing a round of antibiotics won't cure!!! What a wonderful Christmas present!

How's Peaches doing? Taming down any at all?

He's actually getting better faster then I expected. His eyes aren't puffy and goopy any more, he wasn't sneezing yesterday, and he seems alot better! The first day I had him back he went for me when I tried to give him food. Now he just sits in the back of his cage and stares at me, but he hasn't tried to get me again, although I did cut my thumb pretty bad on a cat food can lid yesterday. I'm amazed to see how quickly he's healing. The vet did give him an antibiotic shot while he was there, so maybe that's what's helping him heal so quickly. He's got a better appitite to. He barely nibbled on his food the first day he was back, and now I'm finding I have to feed him 3 times a day, since the dish I have is just a small one that clips onto the door of the cage. If everything continues to go this well, the vet told me that by Tuesday night or Wednesday morning when the antibiotics run out, he should be fine to turn loose again.
