I'm assuming someone here has bought a cat tree that required assembly. I'd like to get Morsey a taller one, but it needs to fit in my truck, and would be nice if it broke down into pieces for when I move. I tend to move around quite a bit due to my job.

Morse the Horse is 15 lbs, but he's not chunky, so the 15 lbs is here to stay! I'd like him to be able to play on it without worry that it will topple. Am I meowing up the wrong tree with the assembly required models at his weight?

Another vote for armarkat! Easy to assemble, sturdy, and a bargain. I ordered mine from allpetfurniture.com, it was free shipping and was at my door in less than a week. The reviews are very helpful, some are more sturdy than others. Look for one with a wide base.

Mine is sturdy as well, but it will be a bit shaky when my cats jump too hard, because it's tall (63"). I put lots of heavy magazines at the base, and problem solved.
