OK, I just bought Chicken Soup cat food, and I'm switching the kitties over. Problem is, one of the kitties (Jasper) has a VERY sensitive stomach, so obviously I'm going to need to do this gradually. So I mix in just a few pieces of the new food (dry) with his previous food. He likes the new food so much that he picks it out of the other food and just eats that!! I'm afraid of his tummy getting upset, because this is pretty much the same as just flat out switching foods. What should I do?

And for wet food, I figured they'd be OK if I use the same flavor food in the new brand. And they LOVE it!! I'm so happy. *keeping fingers crossed that there's no diarrea on the carpet tomorrow morning*

If there are only a few kibbles of the new food available, he'll end up eating mostly his old food anyway; hopefully all will get mixed together in the correct proportion inside his tummy and it won't be an issue! 8O

Let us know what you find in the morning!

Cheers,
Dr. Jean
