Well, my sister just adopted a 7 year old stray cat that I found. I noticed his gums are swollen and red (back & front). I told her this and she won't take him to the vet. She thinks that brushing his teeth with hydrogen peroxide will work and get rid of the swelling. I don't think it will because my cat had swollen gums and the vet had to give him medication for it.

Will hydrogen peroxide really work?

Thanks :D

If she doesn't take him to the vet, it may end up costing her more money because his mouth problems will just get worse, and may end up needing teeth pulled, etc.
