My cat Tiggy sometimes decides to flick her tail a lot, but sometimesdoesnt do it at all its a bit like a dissmissive shrug of a flick :? I just wondered if anyone knew what it means when they do this, Is it some kind of signal?
I know tail flicking is a sighn that they are aggravated about something. My cats do this for example when one is sleeping and another wakes them up, they flick their tail. I think it is just a way of communicateing with other cats.
usually its when shes walking around or 'thinking'. its not so much of a side-to-side angry swish as a quick upward flick, often repeated several times.
She tends to do it when shes not getting any direct attention from us.
