Does the position of where a cat holds its tail mean anything? Before I got my new kitten, my older cat usually went about my apartment with her tail up in the air. Now she seems to keep it more in line with her body sticking straight out. And the new kitten also does this and will only raise his tail when he's being petted. I know body movement can indicate mood so I'm wondering if they're tyring to say something.
