When Milky pees, he goes into the litter box, pees with 4 legs inside the box and gets out.

When he takes a poop, he likes scratching and digging around before getting in the box, then he'll put his front legs on the edge of the box and hind legs inside, kind of like squatting, do his business, then get out and sniff all over before burying it.

The main point is that you can tell the difference from how he positions his front legs. Just wondering if any of your cats does this? :jump

MowMOw is the opposite. He pees with his front feet out and poops with all four feet in.

Book.... well ... he's a teenager. I'm just grateful he makes it INSIDE the box most of the time

Zuba's a good boy; he pees and poops with all four feet inside. Alkee pees with 4 feet inside, but poops with front feet on edge of box. She likes to poop right after I scoop it in the morning, and some days she balances with all four feet on the edge of the box. This one morning she teetered and fell off while pooping, but got back in to cover. Now most of the time she has two front feet and one hind leg on the edge.

All of ours are all 4 paws in for both but legs further apart and bottoms right down, pretty much touching the litter when the pee. They lift their bottoms more when pooping and their back legs are on a different angle.

Watching Matrix do it just a few times, he's definitely got a style.

When he pees, his legs kind of form a square, and he leans his but inward. When he poops, his paws are all together, and he could probably stand on a little 2 inch cube. lol
