look what they do to my cujo. they sit there and just taunt him. i think they know he can't get them.
sometimes he chases them from window to window, through the whole apartment!

That's funny!! :lol: Chipmunks climb to the top of the firewood outside our LR window, but never had the nerve these squirrels do. I'm sure the little rascals think they're pretty smart! Thank for the picture.

Yoda runs from window to window hissing and stuff if she sees any cats or other small animals in the yard. Apparently she is letting them know that it is her territory. :wink:

Mia chatters at birds, just like a squirrel. Jack talks to them, persuading them to come closer.

I live on the second floor, but there is a large tree that has branches that are within inches of the window; Punky likes to watch the squirrels.

They may not taunt or care much about her, but they do all sorts of running around and other "activities" :shock: that drive her nuts.

No squirrels in this picture, but you can get a good idea of what her view is like.

haha my cats are taunted by squirrels too. i live in a basement apartment so my windows are flush with the ground. there's no sill in my windows, and my cats were literally climbing and hanging from the frame trying to watch the squirrels. i had to fung shuey my furniture so they had a way to sit comfortably and watch!

this summer, i had all the windows open so the cats could perch in the actual window (the windows all have screens). this one crazy squirrel was just sitting by the screen, much like in that first post's photo. all 3 cats tried to pile in the window, and they were chittering like crazy. woody couldn't resist, she poked at the screen and hit the squirrel with it. the squirrel went bonkers and lept onto the screen and did laps around the frame, and all 3 cats were startled by his sudden outburst and fell out of the window into a pile of laundry! i laughed SO hard :lol: their tails were all puffed up and their eyes as wide as saucers. the squirrel wins every time...

My dog has a run line ( this is kinda like a clothes line with a leash hanging down to the ground, so he can run up and down the back yard) We have a couple squirrels who know where his leash stops and they sit directly at the point he cant reach them and chatter and scold him! It is kinda funny actually. He get so upset, growling, barking, and jumping, and they dont even care because they know he cant reach them!
