I had to drop off Tom this morning at the Humane Society where I adopted him, so he could have his little kitty surgery. They said there is a very good possibility that he could come home tonight, since the males usually do really well post-op. If not, I'll be picking him up tomorrow morning.
I miss him already!
He topped the scales at a whopping 4.4 lbs. and he's about 16-17 weeks old. He's, without a doubt, the smallest cat I've ever owned, and I plan on keeping him that way. No weight issues here, I'm vowing! He and my 23 lb. big guy Jack make a striking contrast!
Anyway, think good thoughts for my little buddy Tom, and that all goes well.
