I had to drop off Tom this morning at the Humane Society where I adopted him, so he could have his little kitty surgery. They said there is a very good possibility that he could come home tonight, since the males usually do really well post-op. If not, I'll be picking him up tomorrow morning.

I miss him already!

He topped the scales at a whopping 4.4 lbs. and he's about 16-17 weeks old. He's, without a doubt, the smallest cat I've ever owned, and I plan on keeping him that way. No weight issues here, I'm vowing! He and my 23 lb. big guy Jack make a striking contrast!

Anyway, think good thoughts for my little buddy Tom, and that all goes well.

Hope he feels better soon! My cat came home the same day and was perfectly fine so no worries!

UPDATE: Tom did GREAT. They called me late yesterday, and asked if Tom would like to come home, but unfortunately, I had to work, so I picked him up this morning. Sweet boy. He was rarin' to go!

All's well, and he's well on his way to healing.

Thanks for all the positive thoughts!

Lisa :)
