I see Bean has a few t.v. shows on DVD. Justin and I have been buying our favorite t.v. shows on DVD like mad lately. We've gotten to the point where we don't really watch t.v. anymore, we just watch our DVDs! So far we've collected:

The Simpsons (1, 2, and 4)
Futurama (All 4 Seasons)
Strangers with Candy (1 & 2 and we'll be adding 3 when it comes out on the 28th)
Aqua Teen Hunger Force (Seasons 1 & 2)
The Family Guy (All (both?) seasons)
Angel (Seasons 1 - 4)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Seasons 4, 5, and 6 and other seasons as I can afford them)

Plus there are so many other series out there I want to pick up like Millennium and The (original) Twilight Zone. Does anyone else do this? What are your favorite t.v. shows that you have or want to get on DVD.

Really, really want Stargate on DVD, but they have eight seasons so getting them all won't be cheap. After that, there are a couple shows, like Mystery Science Theatre 3000 or Farscape that would be cool to have.

I wait for my friends to get them, and then I borrow them :)

I completely forgot how good of a show Futurama was! It's just too bad they kept putting it at such a crappy time, because I would have watched it more if I knew when it was on consistently!

My friend lent me volumes one and two, and I'm waiting for her to get the other ones (in the meantime, there is cartoon network!)

Just be sure to have your box of Kleenex handy when you get to the episode "Jurassic Bark" in Season 4.

I LOVE tv on DVD! There's nothing better than seeing an episode uncut (not just commercial free, but nothing is cut out!).

My husband and I have been buying them like mad:

Friends (seasons 2-7)
Family Guy (seasons 1-3)
Star Trek TNG (two seasons - I think 3 and 4)
Strangers with Candy (1&2) **Annissa - I'm psyched to hear that season 3 is coming out on the 28th, I had missed that somehow!! WOO HOO
Felicity (season 1)
Gilmore Girls (season 1)
Simpsons (1,2,3, & 4)

Has anyone been to this site: http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/ You can vote for certain tv shows to be released on DVD, and they keep you updated on release dates & information on those that you vote for - or are interested in. Very cool.

I get OZ on dvd since it only comes on HBO and we don't get that here. I've also got Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and I'll probably end up getting the Gilmore Girls dvds.

Then you might be extra psyched to hear that they filmed a Strangers with Candy movie in June and July with the original cast plus Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker. I can't find a release date on it, though.

I'm waiting for Season 7 to come out (Oct, I believe!)
I'm so there! November 16th. I love the ep "Conversations with Dead People." Scariest thing I've seen on t.v. since the X-Files.

Krista-
I love Six Feet Under! Your collection seems to match my tastes the closest (minus Star Trek - bleh!).

My So-Called Life was an awesome show. You know, I think it would be a hit now. Back then, there just wasn't a market for it, especially when it had to compete with Friends.
