Walter is the first boy cat I've ever lived with. He's seven months old but is now also the biggest cat I've ever lived with. All these firsts!

I'm looking forward to hearing about everyone's cats and their antics or problems. I expect I'll be asking for advice about all sorts of things as I haven't looked after a cat for over fifteen years - it all seemed so easy then!

Walter just woke up to have his photo taken. Nice to meet you all!

Thanks for the welcome. I have a query which probably sounds silly- are cats ticklish? I ask as Walter squirms just like people being tickled when i stroke his feet. His little feet are so soft that I can't resist stroking them. Other cats never object when i do this, so can my Walter be ticklish?

I would say yes. But it varies from cat to cat. Some are more sensitive on feet, some on the belly. Sometimes the stroking can just be annoying rather than tickling. Animals, just as we are. :)
