Hello all,
a wart (or cyst?) popped up on my cat's neck. It's smooth and protruding and moves freely with the skin. Doesn't seem to bother her at all.

Her annual checkup is in September each year - is this bump something I should take her in now, or can I wait for her annual when (hopefully) the coronavirus lockdowns are over? I'd much rather wait if this is not likely something to seriously worry about, we're really trying to stay home

Thanks for any advice

If she were my cat I think I'd do a "wait and see" if the cyst/wart stays the same or is continuing to grow......give it a few weeks and if it is continues to enlarge, then I'd go to the vet. Right now a lot of vets are shut down except for emergencies.

Have you looked at it real closely? I thought one of my cats had grown a cyst till I realized it had tiny little legs! Turned out it was a tick.
