I called this morning in a last ditch effort to find out what was going on with the adoption papers for Amy who we renamed Perl. She is the grestest little 7 month old kiten. I'm very woried about bringing her home tomorrow but I also can't wait. I'm nervous about introducing Perl to Galileo (the 7 month old kitten we already have) & trying to get Perl over her shyness.
I want to have Perl feel lke she is welcome here in our home & she is loved! I hope that Perl & Galileo can be good friends. Does anyone out there have any ideas how to get Perl get over her shyness? I know how to intorduce the 2 kittens just have no idea how to get Perl over her shyness other then try to hold her a lot and give her lots of love & treats!

It'll take time, I have 1 shy cat and she was fine after 3 weeks of confinement, it takes that long for Leandro to used to anyone. Still 2 years later, she's becoming less shy.
