Title says all!

I would like to see everyones freezers o' meat!

This is what mine looks like on the empty side...

http://i1011.photobucket.com/albums/af234/CassilynneB/SDC11248.jpg

Chicken and chicken hearts go on top
Beef and beef hearts go below
Pork and turkey
Ground meat to entice the booger heads to eat liver and kidney
all bone meals go in the bottom drawer
gizards, liver, kidneys, and beef or chicken hearts that I can't fit on the shelves go on the door!

How about you?

(side note: We got our freezer off of craigslist for $40.00! Perfectly working and it was actually CLEAN!)

I highly doubt my dad would be willing to plug in the storage freezer and let me use it for "those d*mn cats"! LOL... plus, I doubt I could afford all that anyway... right now, I'm struggling to buy Costco kibble and on-sale canned food >_< Maybe in 3 years when I get rid of all my debt, I can spoil them properly!

How many cats do you feed? I really don't get big hauls because I just never got around to ordering it. I always get new meat every two weeks that will last them another two weeks so my freezer never looks that packed. I only feed two cats.

Haha my dad is like that too!

I don't have a separate freezer for the cats, but come to think of it, maybe I should :) I might have to check out craigslist. My small over the fridge freezer looks like that now. I bet the one lonely chicken is for you.

Out of about 100 ziplock baggied meals, my freezer has a packet of frozen meatballs for us and some chicken nuggets...sad! lol

The lonely chicken is our freezer mascot, LOL. I got so tired of cutting up meat when getting a big haul of meat, I just couldn't bring myself to cutting up one more chicken...so there he stays. He will probably stay in one piece for years to come.

I am not at home to take a picture of my freezer, but I can show the model of my freezer.
We used to have side by side fridge and 1/2 of the freezer was for the cats (we had 2).

Then we can't stand it anymore, and a family is moving from Portland, so we bought a chest freezer:
Sears: Online department store featuring appliances, tools, fitness equipment and more
And also ordered some 60+ tubs of Rad Cats. Hey no sales tax and no shipping cost added to the Rad Cats.

We just got one cat last month, so we are putting all the commercial raw neatly one by one, row by row then layer by layer. Then all homemade put in Rad Cats containers with labels on top. And the "save for later" materials we put in the basket. Sometimes we put some ice cream in the chest freezer for us. And the freezer serves as a very high corner table in our living room too.

One side: Ground Beef, Smelt, Chicken Drumsticks, Chicken Drumettes, Chicken Giblets

Top of entire freezer: liver, NV Raw, Smelt, Turkey, Beef, Beef Heart, kidney, smelt

Beef Heart (yellow containers), Beef, Chicken Heart (black bottom container), chicken drumsticks, chicken gizzards

Actually, these pictures were taken a while ago. Now I have a lot of turkey gizzards as well as well as pork (I was out at the time of the pictures).

I very much want to get another freezer off of craigslist if I find one for cheap enough. There are deer processors around here who would possibly be willing to give me organ and scrap meat. As well as cousins who hunt who would give me wild duck and goose if I had the room. Then my friends family has a ton of meat in their freezer that they won't eat because it is freezer burnt. I need another freezer!

Oh, I know that it looks like I already have a lot of meat. But with 25 cats eating raw I do go through meat very fast (around 5 lbs a night in the winter for the farm cats, and another 2.5 lbs for the five housecats/kittens each day.
