My indoor cat Daisy,2 years old, was treated for tapeworm in April and now has this on her butt. I don’t have any other pets, she gets treated for fleas every month and there’s no rodent problems here.
Are these swollen glands or maybe worms? I would appreciate any input. Thank you!

Another note - she’s had this exact formation of black pieces in her butt for days. If they were worms wouldn’t it look like a different formation days later?

Send a picture to your vet. It could be a simple fix and you've avoided the expense of an actual vet visit.

Almost looks like a tiny bit of dried poo.. It does sometimes get stuck to their bottoms If concerned consult your Vet,

Did you ever figure out what this was? My cat has a similar looking situation.
