Even though Oliver won't budge on whole raw feeding thing, Pinball is nuts about it! So I've started feeding him a can in the morning when I feed Oliver a can and raw at night while Ollie gets kibble still. Pretty much whatever we eat that night, he gets some of. So this week he's had ground turkey, ground beef, chicken drumstick, whole pork chop (no bone) and tonight might be tilapia but I'm still undecided on dinner. Lol! Even though we don't eat them and they aren't "raw", I give him some sardines now and again too. He's also had chicken hearts and gizzards. I haven't introduced organs (liver, kidney, ect) yet but all his canned foods have organs so I'm not overly worried about introducing those too fast. He also nibbled on a chicken foot some. The drumstick he ate clean off the bone but wouldn't eat the bone. Are those too big for cats? (Or well, 3.5-4ish month old kitten?) I know he could handle the feet but he only nibbles them a little. I'm limited in the bones I can get right now, NOBODY has chicken necks and the only wings I found were prespiced. I was told they should have some plain raw ones soon though. If drumsticks are too big/hard, would turkey necks be an issue?? They're kinda big. I assume pig feet he definitely wouldn't take to yet. Pork and beef necks I'm scared he would break teeth on if he even tried, I don't even give them to my dogs for that reason. How can I encourage more than just nibbling or will it just be a matter of giving him time?
