I adopted an adult cat three months ago and it started having health issues, seemingly allergy related (vomiting, scratching). After a few vets and some failed interventions they told me to give him only Hill's Z/D (he only eats wet after having an upset tummy).
One month later he is scratching even worse then before and hiding. Indeed the vomiting has stopped (only three times during the morning most probably because he ate fast).

After reading online about Z/D and looking at the ingredients list I start wondering if this is not aggravating his scratching issues. I mean soy and cornstarch appear to be potential allergens.

What is your experience with Z/D and possible food allergies /food trials?

I am really struggling seeing the boy like this , unhappy and hiding :(

Thank you!
