I've been reading up on different types of cat litter in this forum and I'm wondering what is the difference between 'clumping' and 'scoopable'. Are they the same?

I use 'Super Scoop' now but it tracks on the floor even though I have a small rug just outside of the box.

Is there a clumping/scoopable that is better on tracking?

Thanks,
Debbie

I use Arm and Hammer scoopable. It's about 98-99% dust free-important for my lungs and theirs, and it holds down the odors. I have tried a couple other brands, including crystals, but I'm spoiled. I like Arm and Hammer! My Littermaid has a small mat with it, and I put the whole unit of top of a plastic mat about 3 feet by 6 feet. It can be cleaned easily.

People have different preferances on their requirments for litter.

I honestly have not noticed too much of a change in tracking from litter to litter. Covered litter boxes and the approprate mat can help contain any stray litter better.

Good luck finding one!
