Just wondering if its normal for kittens whiskers to break. I don't know for sure why they're doing it but he has like 3 that are really short because they've broken off.

Envy's did that too for a while, she even got split ends! The vet just said "Oh look she has some split ends on her whiskers hehe" So I assume it wasn't a problem. They have since grown back normally.

My cats did too, if you have more than one cat it may be they are over-grooming each other and pulling them out by acident, as mine got older this has reduced, but with 5 cats, 4 of whome love and groom each other this still happens a little bit.

I don't have another cat but she does like playing with my dog so maybe while they're playing his whiskers keep breaking. Glad its not a health issue.
