Our ten month old purebred Himalayan has some almost pure white color on the outside of the iris with blue on the inner part. (two tone eyes!)

Is this normal?

They are very neat looking. To be on the safe side, I would ask the vet if you need to take any extra precautions against sunlight.

To me they look normal for a Himmie, but I'm not a Himmie breeder. They just look like they don't have the intensity of color that some Himmie's have. This may be genetic...did the parents have more intense eye color or was it similar?

A cat at the shelter I volunteer for has eyes almost like that... but not really white so much as very pale blue. Several people asked me if he's blind.

What stunning eyes! I would ask a vet if there are any precautions you should take. I know in humans, the lighter the eyes the more sensitive they are to the sun, not sure if its the same for cats.
