Just wondering, whats your worst fear? Im afraid of deep water. Ive always been afraid of swimming in the sea. I also dont like spiders. I never used to have a problem with them, until i started living with someone who has a fear of them. Im always the one who has to put them in the trap. Its so horrible.

I am so afraid of not being able to help a creature(human being or animal) in pain. I have had a few experiences where there was nothing I could do and those images still haunt me. I do my very best to prevent them from happening.

I dont have any one fear, I have MANY:
#1 is the fear of deep, dark and open water, even if I'm on a boat !
#2 swimming with someone too close or touches me - i'll tear their eyes out !
#3 feet - i hate feet, i dont even like my own feet
#4 cockroaches - they move WAY to fast
#5 i have a fear that my cats will get out/escape and never come back or get hurt.

there are more, but those are the top 5

I get worried that my cat is going to get run over or get lost or get stuck in someones shed and be in there for days. When i let my cat out, i always call her shortly after, i never leave her out too long without calling her. She likes to roll in the road alot aswell, and lots of cars go up and down our road, i just get worried she is going to get hit. :(

I cast a second vote for death. I grew up in an athiest family, so it would be hard for me to ever feel as if I were going to a better place after I die. To me death is just nothingness, and that really scares me!

P.S. cockroaches are my fav insects  (I know I'm weird but when they eat bananas, they look SOOO cute)

My worst fear is, believe it or not, people.
I am also afraid of heights, insects, and reptiles.

felinefanatic , How can you hate feet?? I LOVE feet! They're tasty and delicious. :D

Water - hate it. Had 2 near-drowing experiences within 1 year when I was 12. If I can't touch the bottom, no way. I also hate being sprayed with water and falling/being thrown in water even if it's only 3 feet deep. It's a horrible fear. I want to take private swimming lessons to get over it.

Also have a horrible fear of something bad happening on the road to my significant other. I worry constantly when he goes out of town.

my biggest fear is the fear of deep, dark and open water, even if I'm on a boat (copied and pasted).

I sorta have a "fear" of heights, but it was mostly dizziness and doesn't affect me as much any more.

As for animals, I'm scared of maggots and sharks but that's it. Well - sorta warey of ground spiders having been biten.

weird, i didn't realize so many people have a fear of water! i do too! only deep water where i can't see beneath me though. i just can't stand it...there's too many creepy water-dwelling creatures. probably stems from the time i was swimming in the ocean and got tangled in some stray portugese manowar (jellyfish) tentacles.

i'm also afraid of spiders. i'm not sure if it counts as a fear or just an extreme dislike! i used to have my ex-bf kill the spiders in the house, but now that i'm on my own again i've had to suck up the fear a bit. when i was younger, i'd just spray them with hairspray or something and wait til they died to scoop them into a tissue and escort them to the garbage can. but now...its more like "hello little spider, meet CHUCK TAYLOR!" or sometimes...meet my little spider eating cat, woody!

Another vote for deep water here. I never learned to swim and the thought of being in water over my head really frightens me. I am also not too fond of big, snarling dogs.
