I added Justin to my home almost 2 months ago and he and Stormy seem to be getting along okay. But....do other people's cats wrestle all the time?!
Stormy and Justin get into wrestling matches several times a day. It starts one of several ways.
1. One of them will ambush the other and jump on top.
2. They will stare at each other, tails twitching, "stalk" each other and then jump on top of each other and wrestle.
3. (Usually this is what happens) They will kind of lazily flick their paws at each other slowly, batting each other (often after Stormy has come up to lick Justin on the head), and then they will start wrestling.
They actually wrap their paws around each other's necks like a headlock and flip around on the floor! Usually one is standing with the other lying down. They don't seem to be aggressive, but sometimes little bits of fur come off of them. I check them over and there never seem to be an injuries to either. I try to keep their claws trimmed also. There has been only one time I really needed to break it up, Stormy was hissing because she was in a pissy mood that day.
Is it normal for a little fur to fly when they wrestle or should I be concerned? It is only a tiny bit and not even every time they wrestle. It really looks more like playing than aggressive to me, but who knows with cats!
In other news, they have started cuddling up to each other at the foot of my bed when I sleep. It's sooo adorable and I'm thrilled that they seem to be becoming good buddies.

What you describe sounds to me like two cats playing. Personally, I would't worry about it. Cats who fight make a lot of noise, running chasing, yowling, and really makes their fur fly. Large males who usually have a full face caused by extra fur on their cheeks, who take over as the dominant male will usually fight each other. For this reason, when ever I adopt a new furkid, if it is a male, I'll only take kittens, or if it is a female, I can take most any one. If you have ever watched a catfight, there is no doubt that they do not like each other and will be aggressive toward each other until one is ran off.

I forgot to mention, sometimes they do chase each other (usually after they have finished wrestling) but this also seems to be in fun. There is definately no yowling or anything like that.

Yes, it sounds like playing to me. It must be funny to watch!
Jimmy doesn't have another cat to wrestle, so he's taken to wrestling with my partner! He wraps his front legs round Partner's arm (or anything else he can grab) and appears to bite and kick him. It looks like a lion attacking a gazelle. :) But Partner says it doesn't hurt, he never sinks his teeth in or uses his claws. In fact Partner encourages him by dangling his arm over the side of the settee and waving it about.
I think they both enjoy it because they are both both boisterous lads :)

Yeah it's entirely normal
they are just playing

It can look quite aggressive to us, but you would know if they were being aggressive, there would be lots of yowling

My 2 wrestle, stalk and chase each other as well

it is so sweet to watch once you know they're not getting hurt

I often find black and white fur in my tabby cats paws!! (we have a black and white cat and a tabby with white)

our black and white cat also wrestles with the neighbours cat and another big fluffy cat from down the road, and they get into headlocks and bit each others neck

so is nothing to worry about, it is good that they get on so well so soon, you are very lucky
I bet they are adorable little cats
