Woke to find a living room scattered with pillows, xmas decorations and a lumber jacked Xmas tree :wink

These girls seem to have had a rather playful evening. An I bet you the game was to see who could climb the tree the highest, and from the looks of things Lila must have tried to jump out from the top of the tree - that's the only way they would have been able to tip the tree.

Cinderella ate some colored tinsel and poofed rainbows from her butt. :D

Those are some pretty innocent faces. I think the tree was unsteady, improperly set up, and fell on its own.

They're adorable together. :D

Our fake-tree is looking decidedly Charlie-Brown-ish this year because Floofy has climbed up/down the metal branches so much, his weight has bent them and I cannot bend them *back* into shape. The husband may be able to do it, but I dunno...it has some serious 'holes' in it.

I'm new here and not sure it it's OK to recount the time I pulled a long red ribbon from the anus of my sister's cat on Christmas morning. It's one of our family's Christmas stories now. :)
I realize it's a funny story to tell, but you could have caused some damage if it were tangled in the intestines. Next time (if there is one), just cut it off and let the rest come out naturally.

This happened to Zoey one year and the vet suggested giving her some Vaseline (just putting it on her nose and she would lick it off) It acts as a laxative and helps the ribbon to come out on its own faster.

Liquid Paraffin? Had a Staffordshire bull terrier a few years ago and he managed to eat a whole bathing sponge.... swell up like a puffer fish. Vet gave us liquid paraffin to aid in the delivery of sponge

Bugger nearly gave me a heart attack :wink
