Hello. I have a huge problem. My cat likes to pee and go number 2 in the kitchen corner. I have read all the posts and the ideas given, but none of those things have helped. My cat's name is PRECIOUS and she is about to be 14 years old. She has always been a good cat except she has an attitude. She has always always always used her litter box and I've never had any problems with that...until recently. She has stopped using her litterbox all-together. She will only use it if we actually pick her up and put her inside and make sure she does her business. She will leave the room her litterbox is in and actually go all the way to the kitchen to relieve herself. :? Once she was on the bed and we put her on the floor and she jumped back on and we picked her up and put her on the ground. WELL, then she jumped back on and peed ON MY BED. Then jumped down. She doesn't care if we see her or not. We can all bbe in the kitchen and she'll walk right up to the stop and do what she needs to! She'll even look at us and when we start yelling she runs out of the room, goes and lays down on the couch and looks at us like we're stupid or something. She doesn't have a UTI...is she just going senile? Please help because even though I have had her for 14 years, cleaning her messes 2-3 times a day is wearing my patience VERY THIN and a shelter in becoming an option. HELP!!!!! :(

Precious was at the vet about 2 months ago and everything was fine. I don't allow any other cats to come inside but she does use the restroom next to a wall, but if there is something against the wall, like a small shelf or icechest, she'll do it next to that. I have cleaned the area with ALL THE CLEANERS IMAGINABLE. Even a spay that's supposed to stop cats from messing on unwanted areas. I think that she just gets mad. I don't know!

Thankx for the ideas. I haven't put the litterbox were she goes potty. Honestly I can't because it's right in front of the stove and we are always there. It would be in the way and I don't want our 3 other cays thinking that the kitchen is where to go if you need to relieve themselves. Thanx for the idea though...
